Google Plus Mania Blog

I have been blogging since 2006,i used to spend lots of time on my wordpress hosted blog,but today i found Google Plus maybe the next generation blogs,it may never come true,but Google+ indeed has the potential to replace blogs.

When we write a blog post,we usually type some texts, add some links ,sometimes embed some photos or videos.All these thing can be done on Google+,and in a efficient and economical way.Why use Google Plus to write blog is more efficient and economical ? Here is the reasons:

1. Google+ is totally free, you do have to spendany money on Blog host server or VPS.
2. As a social network service,Google+ already intergrated Google picasa album and youtube video sites. You can upload your photos and videos and easily embed into your posts very easily
3. You can decide which people can view your posts with the help of Google+ Circles,that’s the many other blog services can’t serve,if you want your posts to be check by all the people,just change your post share option to public.

Even though Google+ has many advantage,i still don’t think it can replace blogs in a short time.Google+ also has many disadvantage as a blog service.Google+ doesn’t have themes to choose as wordpress blog,you can’t install plugins to enhance functions.Independent bloggers will never use Google+ as their blogs,because they can’t put Ads on it.This means they can’t make money from their blogs.

So i don’t think Google+ will replace blogs,but i do think there will be some people use Google+ to write some long artices ,which they used to write on their blogs.
